Converting existing homes into middle housing can increase the value of your property, generate regular rental income, provide the flexibility for you or your loved ones to stay in the community you love, and provide unparalleled opportunity for young Canadians.
What is middle housing?
While many definitions exist, mddl considers middle housing as a range of housing types that fall between single-family homes and apartment buildings. These types of housing can include townhouses, duplexes, and triplexes - generally with at-grade entrances and no elevator core.
We’re proud to have been selected as a finalist in CMHC’s Stage 5 Level-Up Housing Supply Challenge to increase Canada’s housing productivity.
